Bethel Pawn opened its doors in 2013 under the name East Side Gold & Coin LLC, founded right here in Bethel, Ohio. What started as a neighborhood gold and coin shop grew into Clermont County's most trusted full-service pawn shop — one built on a simple belief: treat every customer like a neighbor.

LaMont and Teresa Baudendistel have run the shop since day one. Their grandson Brayden Hall joined the team and now serves as General Manager, carrying the family tradition forward. Three generations, one commitment: fair prices, honest appraisals, and real community service.

LaMont founded Bethel Pawn in 2013 and has spent over a decade building a reputation for honesty and fair dealing in Clermont County. His expertise spans gold, coins, firearms, and just about everything else that comes through the door.

Teresa Baudendistel

Co-Owner

Teresa has been by LaMont's side since day one, keeping operations running smoothly and making sure every customer leaves feeling valued. Her warmth is a big part of what makes Bethel Pawn feel like a neighborhood shop, not a transaction.

Brayden Hall

General Manager

LaMont and Teresa's grandson, Brayden joined the family business and quickly proved himself as a natural. As General Manager, he brings fresh energy while honoring the values the shop was built on. He's the future of Bethel Pawn.

Doors Open

East Side Gold & Coin LLC opens at 119 W. Plane St in Bethel, Ohio. LaMont and Teresa start small — gold, coins, and a commitment to fair dealing.

2015

FFL License Earned

Bethel Pawn becomes a federally licensed firearms dealer (FFL #4-31-0339), expanding into handguns, rifles, shotguns, ammo, and accessories.

2018

Full-Service Expansion

The shop expands its buying categories to include tools, electronics, jewelry, sporting goods, and more — becoming a true full-service pawn shop for Clermont County.

2022

Next Generation

Brayden Hall joins the team as General Manager, bringing fresh energy and a commitment to carrying on the family tradition of honest, community-first service.
